Jelle (1968) is father of three and partner to Janneke. Jelle's father has been racing pigeons since 1963. Jelle joined him as a very young boy in this hobby. Since then they have developed a very strong strain of pigeons. In the last 20 years Jelle has specialized in extreme long distance pigeons. He won the Barcelona race two times and has several championships to his name. Since 2017 Jelle started sending pigeons to One Loft Races, having high hopes. OLR turned out to be a very difficult dicipline with very different circumstances. He has been trying very hard to get the best genes and combinations to breed pigeons that can endure these circumstances.
