I started pigeon racing when I was about 15 years old and progressed to being one of the top fanciers in the United Kingdom. Over my years of racing I achieved many top racing awards and accolades in the pigeon sport including Region & National RPRA Awards, which included Gold Medals. I was also honoured to be selected to be The United Kingdom Pigeon Olympiad Team Manager for two different Pigeon Olympiads. Over a period of six different Pigeon Olympiads, all held in different countries I actually won a total of 21 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals. Showing pigeons was also of great interest to me and I literally won hundreds of First Prizes in Local Club Shows. I also won many top awards in the National Shows and have also been privaliged to have been asked to judge at many of these, including numerous times being asked to judge The Best In Show Class. I have been involved with One Loft Races and been privaliged to be selected as the United Kingdom Race Team Shipper & Race Co-ordinator for many top International One Loft Races literally all over the world. I was also the International Race Co-ordinator for the South African Million Dollar Pigeon Race, which ran successfully for 23 years. I have literally travelled the world and been part of nearly all the top OLR's in the world today, where I have gained vast experience and met many top fanciers, that now just specialize in OLR's. I have also turned down many great offers from OLR organisers to be part of their Team but because my policy was always that I would rather do one well then take on other positions and then not be able to devote the time needed to make that a success. When the South African Million Dollar Pigeon Race finished, AFRIKAPRO decided to start a brand new race with totally different ideas to most other OLR's in the world today and that excited me that is why I got involved with them. Their "TEAM" is second to none and they are always looking forward trying to create new competitions. They are now in their second year and really have taken massive steps forward and will without doubt be one of the biggest and best OLR's in the world over the next few years. Pigeon Racing has been my life now for over 60 years and i have enjoyed all the experiences. One thing is for sure that ONE LOFT RACING is growing annually and I am positive that AFRIKAPRO will be one of the best run races in the world.
