Race 10 Basket

Race 10 of the 2023 AFRIKAPRO season will take place tomorrow, 14 September 2023, from Ventersburg in the Free State, some 380km from the loft.

Headwind conditions with a moderate northerly wind prevailing are expected under clear skies and mild to warm temperatures of between 12 and 26 degrees Celsius.

This last week has been one of the best we could have hoped for. Returns from Race 9 were excellent with 98% of the basketed birds back in the loft when the race closed.

Furthermore, the condition and fitness of +/- 200 birds that were in recovery after Race 8 has improved to a point where the vast majority can take part in Race 10.

We urge all participants to check the basketing list for Race 10 to make sure that their correct team is activated.

The eagerly awaited Final Race is now only one month away and we wish all our participants the very best of luck!
